Simple Invisible cornrow braiding method you can do on your own!

Today you will learn how to install invisible cornrows with the undetectable feed in technique. The feed in technique allows you to add braiding hair to your braids without the bulkiness.

The invisible cornrows hair style is not only trending right now; but is a very great protective style that is easy and simple to do on your own.

Let’s get started!

What you will need-

3 packs of Kanekalon braiding hair.

3. Cantu Shea Butter Extra Hold Edge Stay Gel

  1. Elastic rubber band

  2. Sheers

  3. Edge brush

  4. Rat tail comb

Hair preparation-

Section of each parted area of the hair

Braiding hair preparation-

Separate the hair into small sections to feed in your own hair.

Start out by adding small pieces and progressively work your way up to small lager pieces.

For a natural look use 12 pieces of hair. For a ticker fuller cornrow braid use double that amount 24 pieces.

For easy reach while braiding lay each bundle section of to the side.

Installing the hair and styling the Hair-

Apply Val’s scalp and hair grease for added moisture.

Start braiding your own hair to the back about 2 sections,

Add braiding hair on the 3rd section.

For consistency start each look with the same hair every time. Since I’m a lefty I use my left hand!

Bring hair around back of your head, position towards hair line holding the hair in a loop shape.

Grip one side with pinky place other side of hair under pointer finger.

Continue braiding feed in the braiding hair.

Repeat process. Feed in your previously section out braiding hair, small to large as you braid down.

Don’t forget to place each add in behind your head.

For thicker braids add braiding hair throw-out the entire braid.

Place rubber band at the end of each braid to secure the hair.

Clean the braid by trimming off excessive fly away without cutting your own hair.

Add edge control using edge control brush.

Finally if you take your time be patient with a little practice you will have a go to protective style at the tip of your finger.
